Designed to meet the developmental needs of children ages 3 - 8, the camps offer activities that immerse campers in the theme of the session. And our flexible schedule allows you to choose from four 2-week sessions. Enjoy one, two, three or all four sessions!
Art, music, drama, nature activities . . . and much more! Each day will include outdoor time and time to enjoy the Museum's interactive exhibits!
Taught by professional Museum educators and assisted by student teachers and our CIT's, Museum camps feature a low teacher-to-camper ratio, assuring plenty of individualized attention. Programs are geared for hands-on exploration and provide open-ended opportunities for children to build understanding and knowledge. Your child will learn while having fun!

Mini Camp for Minis
Is your child ready for a drop-off program? Mastered separation anxiety? This program is designed to meet the developmental needs of three-year olds. This drop-of camp will offer lots of opportunity to work with a larger group, but will have plenty of staff to ensure the one-on-one time connection three-year olds crave. Great experience? Consider signing up for another session! Child must be independently toilet learned.

Big, bigger, biggest! Your child will have so much fun learning about size. Jam-packed with music, paint, and get up and move games-it is our biggest camp for your little one!
Great Explorations (ages 3 - 5)
Is your child ready to be dropped off and join our group? Led by highly qualified staff, these multi-aged camps are packed full of fun, and will offer more opportunity for camper-directed interests and choices. All activities will be geared to your child's developmental skills. Child must be independently toilet learned.

Pretend you are there! Visit faraway places wtihout ever leaving the Museum! Using our five senses, we will explore a different land each day, sampling some exotic foods along the way!
•Session Two - Books Come Alive!
Monday, July 5 - Wednesday, July 7 & Monday, July 12 - Wednesday, July 14
Characters will come to life at camp as we read, act, and make crafts that real authors write about. We will try some favorite authors' illustration techniques and create our very own, one-of-a-kind, original story to take home.
•Session Three - Back to the Farm

Roll up your sleeves and learn how a farm runs. Join us for a tractor-load full of fun projects and games!

Water brings a new coolness to crafts, musical instruments, tricks, and science experiments! Join us for loads of fun and cool activities! Caution: we may get a little wet in the process.

Buried treasure, bones, bugs...there is so much to uncover! Each day we will find out what is really going on underground with special tools and magnifiers.
Camp Discovery (ages 6 - 8)
These camps are geared to hands-on learning and uncovering the answers to questions that curious early elementary students have. There are no session 1 or 5 camps for this age group.
•Session Two - Blast Off!

We'll launch rockets, soar planes and defy gravity. We'll do a few out-of-this-world challenges too. You won't want to miss out on six days of science discoveries!
•Session Three - ARTchitecture
Monday, July 19 - Wednesday, July 21 & Monday, July 26 - Wednesday, July 28
Roll out the blueprints and see how buildings and houses are built. Design a mini dream space; sketch, paint, and see art all around us.
•Session Four - Team Green
Monday, August 2 - Wednesday, August 4 & Monday, August 9 - Wednesday, August 11
Harness the Earth's power- make a mini solar oven to cook up a tasty treat, make a rain gauge, compost with worms, and create your own paper.
