The Children’s Museum in Easton will provide free admission on Friday, June 29 as part of Highland Street Foundation’s 10th Annual Free Fun Fridays summer event series. “Free Fun Fridays” has become an annual tradition that delivers to visitors no cost admission to many of the most treasured cultural and historical venues in Massachusetts. Kicking off June 29, 100 institutions from across the state will participate and open their doors to Massachusetts families with free admission to their programs and activities.
“This is The Children’s Museum in Easton’s 6th year participating in Highland Street’s “Free Fun Friday”program and we could not be more enthusiastic about opening our doors to the community,” said Caitlin McGillicuddy, Executive Director. “Massachusetts is rich with educational and iconic cultural sites to explore, and the “Free Fun Friday” event series allows everyone the chance to experience these wonderful locations free of charge.”
Tips for visiting on Free Fun Friday
Please note that parking in Downtown Easton is limited. We ask that you plan your visit accordingly and are respectful of Museum neighbors. There is additional parking off of Main Street about a block from the Museum. We ask for your patience and cooperation during this day of high visitation.
Free Fun Friday is the busiest day of the year. Expect to wait in line. If it is a sunny day, consider bringing sunscreen, a hat, water etc.
There will be plenty of activities occurring in the Museum’s outdoor space, The Wild Place, while you wait for your turn inside the Museum (weather permitting). Plan to have enough adults to supervise children as they enjoy the Wild Place while another adult holds your place in line.
*Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times (in the Museum as well as in the Wild Place).
Due to expected attendance, large groups are encouraged to visit on another day.
