Family Autism Event

Saturday, May 27

The Museum will be open exclusively to families with children aged 10 and under on the Autism Spectrum, and those with Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS). They and their families have a chance to explore the Museum’s hands-on exhibits in a less  overwhelming atmosphere.

The Museum has three floors of hands-on exhibits which families may explore at their own pace. Children will be able to create in the MakerSpace, care for patients in the Kids Clinic, take a trip to the past in the Dinosaur Den and blast off at the Rocket Ship exhibit. With a limited number of guests, this night is just the right time for your family to experience the Museum. click here for a pdf tour of the Museum.

The program is free, but pre-registration is required. To pre-register, call the Museum at (508) 230-3789.
