ArtWeek Boston

ArtWeek Boston at the Children’s Museum in Easton!

Sunday, April 30, Tuesday May2 – Sunday, May 7

Come to art week to test your creative skills through various crafts and activities!

Mad for Monet

Claude Monet, the father of Impressionism, loved to paint light and water. He’d paint the same scene over and over, observing the changing sky and the way it reflected on the water. Monet called these paintings ‘waterscapes’.

Throughout the week we’ll focus on this Frenchman and his love of his water lily pond. We will use different mediums to recreate the color-filled water scenes he painted  in his new style. And who knows? Maybe we’ll sneak a little science in, too!
