ArtWeek Boston

ArtWeek at the Children’s Museum in Easton!

Sunday, April 29- Sunday, May 6

Mimic the Masters

Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities throughout ArtWeek, when we will focus on the Pop Art movement of the 1960s and three artists who used popular, everyday objects to make great art. Explore the concept of scale by creating a bold sculpture in the fun, tongue-in-cheek style of public art sculptor Claes Oldenburg. Design a comic book panel using the bright, primary colored dots that Roy Lichtenstein made famous, and learn various printmaking techniques and methods to make the repetitive art for which Andy Warhol is most known. Recommended for children 8 and under and their families.
