About Us

We believe in the value of play as a tool for inspiring life-long learning in children. Hands-on exhibits with real materials and loose parts can light the spark of creativity, exploration, and discovery in a child. At the Children’s Museum art, science, math, music, literacy and more are offered through open-ended, informal play in our inviting Old Fire Station, and in the enchanting Wild Place, an outdoor learning center. Our educational programs – at the Museum or in the community – bring learning alive for children and their families.

Came for the morning and had trouble
dragging my children away!
So much to do, and
the outside play space is wonderful. 🙂
